Everyone talks about not giving up on your dreams. They say that sometimes you need to fight and stand up for what you truly believe and love. They say that what comes easy, doesn’t last for long. They say, if your dreams don’t scare you, they are too small. And then they say that you need to turn your dreams into your plans. So on and so on… Don’t get me wrong, I do agree with them. And so should you. I just think that its nice from time to time to land down on the ground, stop reading inspirational quotes on the Internet and check the reality around you. We all can find confirmations in our daily life’s little situations as proof. And if it works in the little things, then it works in big ones, trust me!
It was my last day back home, when I was checking all the avocados in my nearest corner shop. They had boxes full of them, but they all where very hard. Maybe there is one, was the feeling that kept me touching avocado after avocado. The vendor joined me and now we were two in this journey. Not for long… “Too green” he gave up, apologized and went back to talk with the other clients. Maybe there is one – I was still with my hands in the avocado box searching for my dinner. With success. Vendor just looked to my happy face and said: “Congratulations! For your patience and insistence I give you this avocado for free!” I put on my sunglasses, even though sun had already gone down, smile to him and went out of the store! Yes, yes, don’t give up on your dreams! The right avocado can be in the same box your hands are!
I needed to tell you earlier, but I love to steal little pillows from planes. I always have one “little one” with me. As I loose one, I find another. But I still have the sweet memories. My favourite “little one” was from Lufthansa. I left it at a summer festival… Now I have a colourful one from AirFrance. He is ok. We live together quite well… We even decided to travel together. So, the next day after avocado dinner I took the flight from Paris to Paradise. Together with him. With AirFrance. I went onto their plane with their pillow in my bag that I stole from them on a flight before. And I will need to steal it again now. And then again on my way back to Paris. “If you really like it, you may need to steal it three times to keep it!” Isn’t that worth a quote?! I think I start to inspire myself!
